Our History
IL MEGLIO DEL MERIDIONE was founded in 1961 by the idea of the family Decuzzi to propose on the tables of the consumer products that are distinguished by the quality, high purity and taste, strong in their knowledge of the land, producers and best combinations according to canons of Mediterranean cuisine.
The long and deep tradition in the processing of olives and pickles bears the mark Decuzzi among the strongest and most recognized in the panorama of the Italian industry, processes that have their origins on the capabilities and knowledge gained since the beginning of last century by the family.
The strengths of our company, in addition to the staff, are always looking for the best technology to get the most accurate selections of product with the least environmental impact, this theme has always been in the hearts of the family Decuzzi, who wanted to give even purifier own water production plant.
PRODUCTION
The Laboratory of production is spread over an area of 400 square meters plus a storage area consisting of acceptance / control input, refrigerated area to maintain the cold chain and area exposed.
Periodically, we proceed to the analysis of the microbiological laboratory with measurement of pH and sugars.
